The Watch Hut Blogger Event
Last night, I was invited to attend The Watch Hut's annual blogger event in Long Acre, London.
The prosecco flowed as the welcoming staff introduced us to the upcoming ranges. There were numerous displays of luxury watches draped over steps that simply won me over at first glance and had every blogger happily Instagramming their faves.
Designs from brands such as Burberry, Anne Klein, Michael Kors, Coach and Marc Jacobs were stacked on dazzling tiers, categorised by colour and the biggest trends for AW14, such as: Jewel and Forest Tones, Animal Print and Black and Gold.
It was great to be talked through each display by an experienced watch buyer, so we could really get an informed insight into what to expect from this season's watches - and how exactly to wear them! The Black and Gold selection was perfect for party season, for example.
My favourite designs mainly came from the 'Jewel and Forest Tones' display, featuring the Michael Kors Skylar, a beautiful design by Olivia Burton that captured the spirit of British countryside and Vivienne Westwood's picture frame watch.
Other watches to keep an eye out for are: Vivienne Westwood Ladies Time Machine Watch in a purple, and a VW watch that had a slim black strap and small rectangular face in a blurred animal print, a black steel mesh bracelet watch from Skagen, a yellow gold Michael Kors Lexington watch with a small face that resembles a Rolex and finally, Anna Klein's beautiful tortoiseshell design.
Oh and did I mention the cakes?

Sequins & Jewels
Jacket - Virgos Lounge, Dress - Rokit Vintage, Shoes and bag - Primark
I waited way longer than I should of to wear the amazing 'Aggy' sequin jacket by Virgos Lounge.
But what better time and place than at Bestival? And I didn't shy away from the Desert Island Disco theme, pairing it with a vintage halter neck sequin dress from Rokit Vintage.
This really is a statement jacket and despite its weight, I really loved wearing it. It's definitely not something you can wear too often and quite frankly, I'm not even sure how to wear it outside of a festival environment but no doubt I'll find a way.
If you haven't already checked out Virgos Lounge you really should, as it's amazing for stand out pieces and unique occasion wear, plus it's really reasonably priced.

Clashing patterns and sunshine
Trousers - Apricot, Crochet Bralet - CrochetBoutique on Etsy
This summer, I have searched high and low for the perfect crochet bralet and the time has finally come... I have found one.
Not sure on what to pair it with I had a hunt around and came across these patterned joggers from Apricot Clothing. Comfy and a perfect for a trip to Ibiza. Probably the comfiest outfit that I've worn so far and because clashing patterns is ok - despite what they say - I paired it with an oversized fringed clutch in a contrasting black and white print.

London Fashion Week SS15
London Fashion Week is over, although the fashion world is still very much alive with parties, events and spinoff fashion events. While I didn't attend any catwalks, I did manage to check out the LFW hot spot that is Somerset House and here are some of my favourite looks across the week.
I snapped His Name Is Fashion blogger at Somerset House on Monday because his outfit just jumped out at me. I loved the straight cut lines of his waistcoat, the contrast of fabrics and the colours or lack of. While I'm partial to a sequin number, I am a girl who loves anything black, grey or monochrome, so, for me, this look complete with the oversized clutch was spot on.
You couldn't miss this fashion trio at Somerset House and I personally spotted them several times and each time their outfits more than impressed. I have since discovered the "Mum, Dad and Son" of fashion go by the names of Ramario Chevoy, Fetish For Fine Fabrics (who's designs can be seen here) and Oscar Jay.
As well as fellow bloggers, I managed to meet some designers along the way and one of my favourites was Cynthia Mak, who wore one of her own SS15 collection dresses. With three layers and a combination of pleated and silk fabric, it hung in a way that just made me fall in love. The stripes and bold block colour worked perfectly as well and her Chelsea boots perfectly completed the look. Check her collection out here or find her on Instagram.
I'm a fan of streetwear, so obviously loved designers Susanna and Joanna who were working their own brand, along with white chunky sandals, Their label, Anna Seven can be seen here here and the girls are wearing the Thou Shalt Change The Game contrasting colour tees. And for outfit inspo follow Susanna on Instagram.

Sunset blogging
Cardigan- Apricot, Shoes - Primark
Crochet has made a serious comeback this summer and this pretty 60's style white cut out crochet look lace cardigan by Apricot is the perfect transitional item for your AW14 wardrobe.
I loved blogging this piece as the sun was setting on holiday in Ibiza, as it's three quarter length sleeves and delicate cut out design make it perfect for September evenings.

Disco Mesh
Since discovering Natasha Kieran in Ocean Beach Club's boutique in Ibiza I have been in love with her easy to wear summer pieces. My first introduction to the unique beachwear brand came in the form of her sheer scoop back, halter neck dresses and now my attention has turned to this amazing blue mesh necklace dress. I love that the necklace is attached to the neckline and when paired with the metallic fabric it really makes a statement.

Black Lace Bestival
Kimono - Apricot, Shoes - Primark, Socks - Topshop, Vintage Levis Shorts - Urban Outfitters,
Bardot crop top - ASOS, Black studded shoulder bag - Primark, Choker - market.
Aside from it being an absolute bargain, it's wearable with pretty much anything. I'm a massive lover of wearing black head to toe so with it's lace detail, this Kimono is the perfect item to help me dress up an outfit.

Desert Island Disco
Counting down the days until Bestival and loading up my wardrobe with as many sequins as humanly possible so that I can fully embrace this year's Desert Island Disco theme - think sequins, 70s, bold bright print, flares, feathers and being stranded tropical island far far away where hippies and festival folk flock. Excited much?
I managed to pick up three amazing tops from Beyond Retro's sale online and then enjoyed a rummage in Rokit Vintage, Covent Garden where I found the most amazing sequin halter neck dress. Catch these on a blog post soon...

Secret Cinema: Back To The Future
Last week I went Back To The Future with Secret Cinema and to say it was amazing would be an understatement. If you've been you'll know.
Obviously the first thing we did was jump on a big yellow school bus to check out the 'Enchantment Under The Sea' disco and it didn't disappoint. The day was filled with music and drama from car chases to high school tiffs, finishing with a screening of the much-loved film. What more could you want?
When we weren't joining in with the rock 'n' roll jive we were hanging out in the bar across town, the dinner or the funfair. We even took part in various challenges, one of which bagged us a spot in the parade. Obviously the main characters such as Biff Tannen (who could be seen cruising in his Mustang with the lads and a few baseball bats), Marty McFly, Doc Brown and of course Marty's Mum and Dad were some of the best and having a DeLorean replica speeding around us whilst we watched the film was just amazing.

#MJDAISYCHAIN
Last week, I was invited to go to the press event for Marc Jacobs' new Tweet Shop in Covent Garden, where no money is exchanged but instead customers can 'buy' things based on their use of the hashtag #MJDAISYCHAIN.
Yep, my phone was pretty much in hand with a half-composed tweet already typed out complete with the hashtag with the aim of getting at least a Marc Jacobs keyring. After a few glasses of champagne I'd tweeted about eight times and by the end of the night I'd been pampered and yes, I had a keyring.
The shop is only open at 4 East Piazza for a few days, closing today at 6pm so hurry if you want to grab yourself some goodies.

The sun has got its hat on
The sun is out again and so is my summer duster coat from H&M; I really can’t get enough of it. Today I’m also wearing a Topshop dress that has been part of my wardrobe for some time now. The monochrome print and open back not only gives it a bit of an edge but it's also super comfy so ideal for the office too.
My hamsa necklace completes the outfit along with Primark sliders and a backpack.

Striped palazzo pants
I recently hunted down these gorgeous striped wide legged trousers from H&M for a bargain at £14.99 and also picked up a cute cream textured shoulder bag from Primark to go with it. I also couldn't resist the leopard print version after seeing the lovely Emily Cocklin style an outfit with it earlier this month.
I am full on embracing the wide leg/palazzo pants trend this summer and wore my latest purchase on holiday with a Bardot crop top from ASOS and an oversized clutch.
