Clashing patterns and sunshine

Trousers - Apricot, Crochet Bralet - CrochetBoutique on Etsy

This summer, I have searched high and low for the perfect crochet bralet and the time has finally come... I have found one.

Not sure on what to pair it with I had a hunt around and came across these patterned joggers from Apricot Clothing. Comfy and a perfect for a trip to Ibiza. Probably the comfiest outfit that I've worn so far and because clashing patterns is ok - despite what they say - I paired it with an oversized fringed clutch in a contrasting black and white print.

London Fashion Week SS15

London Fashion Week is over, although the fashion world is still very much alive with parties, events and spinoff fashion events. While I didn't attend any catwalks, I did manage to check out the LFW hot spot that is Somerset House and here are some of my favourite looks across the week.

I snapped His Name Is Fashion blogger at Somerset House on Monday because his outfit just jumped out at me. I loved the straight cut lines of his waistcoat, the contrast of fabrics and the colours or lack of.  While I'm partial to a sequin number, I am a girl who loves anything black, grey or monochrome, so, for me, this look complete with the oversized clutch was spot on.

You couldn't miss this fashion trio at Somerset House and I personally spotted them several times and each time their outfits more than impressed. I have since discovered the "Mum, Dad and Son" of fashion go by the names of Ramario Chevoy, Fetish For Fine Fabrics (who's designs can be seen here) and Oscar Jay.

As well as fellow bloggers,  I managed to meet some designers along the way and one of my favourites was Cynthia Mak, who wore one of her own SS15 collection dresses. With three layers and a combination of pleated and silk fabric, it hung in a way that just made me fall in love. The stripes and bold block colour worked perfectly as well and her Chelsea boots perfectly completed the look. Check her collection out here or find her on Instagram.

I'm a fan of streetwear, so obviously loved designers Susanna and Joanna who were working their own brand, along with white chunky sandals, Their label, Anna Seven can be seen here here and the girls are wearing the Thou Shalt Change The Game contrasting colour tees. And for outfit inspo follow Susanna on Instagram.

Sunset blogging

 Cardigan- Apricot, Shoes - Primark

Crochet has made a serious comeback this summer and this pretty 60's style white cut out crochet look lace cardigan by Apricot is the perfect transitional item for your AW14 wardrobe.

I loved blogging this piece as the sun was setting on holiday in Ibiza, as it's three quarter length sleeves and delicate cut out design make it perfect for September evenings.

Disco Mesh

Dress - Natasha Kieran, Shoes and bag - Primark, High waist bikini - Topshop

Since discovering Natasha Kieran in Ocean Beach Club's boutique in Ibiza I have been in love with her easy to wear summer pieces. My first introduction to the unique beachwear brand came in the form of her sheer scoop back, halter neck dresses and now my attention has turned to this amazing blue mesh necklace dress. I love that the necklace is attached to the neckline and when paired with the metallic fabric it really makes a statement.

Black Lace Bestival

Kimono - Apricot, Shoes - Primark, Socks - Topshop, Vintage Levis Shorts - Urban Outfitters,
Bardot crop top - ASOS, Black studded shoulder bag - Primark, Choker - market.

Now that I'm on the road to recovery after my Ibiza to Bestival trips, I thought that it was time for a festival blog post dedicated to my amazing black lace kimono.

Aside from it being an absolute bargain, it's wearable with pretty much anything. I'm a massive lover of wearing black head to toe so with it's lace detail, this Kimono is the perfect item to help me dress up an outfit.
